The Church on Church Street offers a sensible location for any event in the Amador County region. Our decommissioned church, set on a paved 1-acre site, combines historical significance with modern convenience, making it the perfect choice for accommodating your venue needs.
Our versatile spaces
From intimate gatherings to grand celebrations, The Church on Church Street provides a variety of spaces to suit your specific needs. Our flexible indoor and outdoor areas are designed to inspire and accommodate any event vision.
Main sanctuary
The historic altar now serves as a perfect stage for speakers, performers, or your head table. There are plenty of outlets for sound equipment as well as dedicated lighting. All furnishings shown are movable.
Kitchenette
Equipped for convenient event support, ideal for small meals and refreshments. The kitchenette includes counterspace with a faucet and sink, a four-burner electric range, oven and microwave.
Two restrooms
Two well-maintained restrooms ensure comfort for all your guests. The restroom near the entry is ADA compliant while the restroom in the back storage area offers more privacy.
Outdoor grounds
Enjoy pleasant views of Plymouth and the foothills from our beautiful 1-acre site. The parking lot can accommodate 50 vehicles while allowing for easy circulation, as well as access to the adjacent historic city cemetery.
